IASSW participates in the NGO Committee on Social Development at the United Nations. The Committee is preparing for the important Second World Social Summit that will be held in November 2025 and more immediately is planning an event for the February meeting of the UN Commission for Social Development. The Committee is seeking input from people at the grassroots on their needs and priorities they would like discussed at the Summit. You can help with this effort by sharing the survey with any projects you have in grassroots communities—perhaps projects that are faculty led or student projects in their internships. Ideally, we would like short video statements or written input by late January, although we will continue to accept materials. The survey is attached in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. I hope you can help.
